    Since 2012, Ebong Alap and Sundarban Bijoynagar Disha jointly celebrate International Working Women's Day in Bali island, Sunderban. This year the programme was held on March 16 and it carried a special name 'Alap Milap'. Alongside the celebration of women's day, this year's programme particularly focused on the message of pluralism and harmony after months long workshops with students from four high schools in the island.Ekhon Alap Bloggers' Meet in April 2019Closing session of STEM workshops in American Centre, Kolkata with female students of Kolkata colleges pursuing education in STEM fields'Ubacho' Poster Exhibition at Gorky SadanEbong Alap Lingo Samyo Somman 2019 was awarded to two individuals (Bilkis Bibi and Lipika Biswas) and two institutions (Laskarpur High School and Vivekananda College for Women) for their outstanding work and achievements fighting against gender stereotyping and discrimination.Ebong Alap won the Social Media for Empowerment Award 2019 for our blog Ekhon Alap.Sundarban Bijoynagar Disha arranged an event on Independence Day around Ebong Alap's Ubacho Posters to highlight the role of women in India's freedom movements.An evening with Shabnam Surita Dana, her songs and discussion around NRC and women's identity and their rights on land.Members of Sundarban Bijaynagar Disha felicitated by different organisations in and around Kolkata for their struggle and achievements: Tapasi Mondal from Srirampore Shromojibi Haspatal, Annapurna Mondal from Amritam and Tapasi Sardar from Bhabanipur Mahapuja Samity.
